Community Libraries in Bhopal – A Space for Everyone
Parag supported community libraries for the urban poor children in Bhopal have become avenues to connect to books and stories and a platform for children to share their experiences and expressions.
This is a summary of a detailed fellowship report that tried to make a case for a particular method of reading aloud which has been successful with children in different parts of the country. But the idea is not to advocate just one way of reading aloud. The idea is to begin thinking about ways in which we can enable children to associate ‘reading’ with something pleasurable and fun.

In addition, visual aesthetics, a very significant and generally neglected area is also examined. It explore issues peculiar to Hindi language textbooks.
