RSK

Rajya Shiksha Kendra is a society established by the government of Madhya Pradesh to roll out its flagship schemes on Education including DPEP, SSA and now Smagra Shiksha Abhiyan. RSK aims to ensure quality in school education. It is the nodal agency for qualitative improvement at school stage and provides leadership, academic guidance and support to institutes such as IASEs, CTEs and DIETs.  RSK is also responsible for capacity building of teachers and teacher educators in Madhya Pradesh. It has a curriculum and textbooks section which undertakes the development of textbooks.

 

SMBC

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) is a scheduled commercial bank, headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, with operations in India in Delhi and Mumbai. SMBC is working with the Trusts’ to strengthen technology in education intervention and libraries set up under the Parag initiative, as a part of its CSR activities.

RSCERT

The Rajasthan State Council of Educational Research and Training (RSCERT) was established in Udaipur in 1978. SIERT functions as an academic wing of Commissioner of Elementary and the Commissioner of Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Bikaner. It acts as an academic adviser to the Department of Secondary Education and to the Ministry of Education in the state. The Institute is administration working of Commissioner of Elementary Education since January 2002. RSCERT is concerned with the academic aspect of school education including formation of curriculum, preparation of textbooks, teacher’s handbook and teaching training. It is an apex academic organization for educational planning, implementation and evaluation for school and teacher education. Under the provisions of the RTE Act-2009, RSCERT has been designated as the highest academic authority for the state.

BPCL

Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) is a leading public sector enterprise of the Government of India under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. The company is India’s 2nd largest downstream Oil company and is ranked 275th on the Fortune list of world’s biggest corporations as of 2019. BPCL is in the business of ‘Fuels and Services’ and its related products and has presence both nationally and internationally and currently operates more than 16,500 fuel stations across India . The Corporation’s business is divided into 7 strategic business units like Retail, Aviation, Lubricants, Refinery, Gas, Industrial & Commercial and Liquefied Petroleum Gas.

In the last decade, EdelGive Foundation has influenced over Rs. 140 crores in philanthropy, impacted over 4.5 lakh lives and supported (financial and non-financial) over 130 organisations, in 14 states in India.

Bookworm Goa

Bookworm is a not-for-profit library organisation based out of Goa and committed to fostering a ​love for reading in all​ children. The main library is a storehouse of 19,000 carefully selected books. It has partnered with Parag to offer the Library Educators Course (English).

Bodh Shiksha Samiti

Bodh is a not for profit working for education of the urban deprived. It is a resource agency for providing training and support on child centred pedagogy and community involvement in education. Bodh is the ground partner for implementing Parag’s library programme in Bali, Rajasthan.

Center for Microfinance

Centre for microfinance (CmF) is an autonomous organization that supports the growth of microfinance and particularly, community based microfinance in Rajasthan. It implements Parag’s library programme in Bali, Rajasthan.

Duckbill Books

Duckbill is a publishing house that has been publishing books for children and young adults, since October 2012. It has partnered with Parag to develop, print and disseminate inclusive books.

Eklavya

Eklavya, a non-profit, non-government organisation based out of Bhopal is a long term partner of Parag to develop and disseminate children’s literature to enable Indian children to access contextual and good quality literature.

Kalike

Kalike is as an associate organisation of Tata Trusts and strives to facilitate deep, large scale and long-term impact on the quality of life through education, health and livelihoods in North Karnataka with a specific focus on Yadgir. Kalike has partnered with Parag to implement its library programme in Yadgir.

Kalpavriksh

KALPAVRIKSH is a nonprofit organisation working on environmental and social issues. The group began in 1979 with a campaign led by students to save Delhi’s Ridge Forest. Kalpavriksh works with Parag to bring out children’s books around environment, sustainability and biodiversity.

Mapin

Mapin Publishing is reputed for illustrated books on Indias art and culture. Mapin publishes literature under its nascent literary imprint, MapinLit, and produces books for children that bring Indian narratives and art-forms closer to young readers. It has partnered with Parag to bring out a series of books on UNESCO Heritage sites in India.

Pratham Books

Pratham Books is a not-for-profit publisher and wants to see a country where every child wants to read, is able to read, and has something good to read. Pratham Books is a long term partner of Parag and publishes and disseminates books across different genres and themes.
